So they are not offering discounts to customers for using this feature, the ppl are having to bag their own items as well as take on the legal responsibility for failure to scan items, and taking away jobs that would normally go to someone else.

The stores no doubt keep the regular lines understaffed (there were plenty of employees available at this time) to give ppl incentive to do it themselves. I gotta ask, Are we being hearded into using self check-out lines? And if so, Has anyone thought about the economic impact of this sort of thing?

I just can't believe ppl aren't talking about this kind of thing more often and/or making more of an effort to avoid using these, when ppl are trying so hard to find jobs these days.
